Erasmus KA1 – Mobility for learning

Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) promotes the international training of students, trainees, teachers and other professionals in education and training organizations.

The projects aim to affirm the participating institutions in the international context of education and training.

Key-Action KA104

The “Agrupamento de Escolas de Anadia” has applied for a project in Key Action KA104 – Adult Education, for the period 2019-2021, which has been approved with 100% of the proposed funding.

The project will allow learning mobility for teaching and non-teaching staff, including participation in structured adult education courses.

These will be held in several European countries over the period June/2019 to May/2021.

The project

The title of the Key Action Project No. 2019-1-PT01-KA104-060513 is INNOVATE TO MOTIVATE: (Re)Think to Qualify

It is supported by the perception that the recognition of human capital is a ‘competitive advantage’ and the impact and significance that motivational factors play on the raise of their qualifications, trying to prevent and avoid dropout. Also noteworthy is the high need to increase the participation rate of adults in lifelong learning.

The activities proposed for staff take reckon the improvement and expansion of learning opportunities tailored to the needs of low-skilled adults, and also the increased need to reply to an audience of migrants and refugees.

Fully funded mobility for training of 15 teachers / non-teachers.

You can confer and save our Erasmus+ project card, available online.

Objectives and methodology

The submitted plan seek to optimize the skills of the staff, provide them with more effective tools and improve the quality of education/training services provided today and those projected to provide in the future.

The activities proposed for the staff regard the potential of each action to generate sharing and learning moments, for the promotion of skills and training of all elements (teachers and non-teachers).

The key areas we’re investing are: reduce the dropout of adults undergoing academic and/or vocational qualification, increase opportunities for access to qualification and raise awareness of its importance for disadvantaged / at-risk populations.

Thus, participants will be offered the approach of motivational strategies, the exchange of practices that allow out of the box thinking, encouraging staff to the value of promoting divergent thinking, awareness of the importance of transforming cultural diversity into opportunities for growth, enabling inclusion and tolerance to work, sharing strategies and practices of other European partners, and reflecting on approaches that integrate working with migrants and refugees and deepening knowledge and use of new IT tools.

Following the dissemination of the mobilities, the registrations and the selection of participants, they will have to complete an English language survey (used in training) which includes, among other things, motivation and the need for training in the European context.

Preparatory working meetings are scheduled with participants addressing cultural, linguistic and formal aspects to be addressed during the training.

After each course it is mandatory to carry out and submit an individual activity report.
