Training Courses

Guidance and referral of adults to qualification courses, as well as their follow-up, regardless of whether the course will be developed at Qualifica Centers or by another entity, is one of our attributions.

EFA Courses

What are they?

The Adult Education and Training (EFA) courses are a flexible training path, of variable duration, specifically aimed at adults, which allows the development of social, scientific and professional skills necessary for the exercise of a professional activity and simultaneously obtaining a basic or secondary level of education.

Recipients

Adult Education and Training courses may be the better way for those aged 18 or over and wishing to obtain the 4th, 6th or 9th grade of basic education or secondary education (12 th year) or want to obtain a professional certification.

Certification

Completion of an Adult Education and Training Course allows to obtain an academic certification at the basic level (4th, 6th or 9th year) or at secondary level (12th year), of a professional certification or both, in these cases being called double certification, conferring a qualification level 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the National Qualifications Framework.

Modular Training

What is it?

Certified Modular Training (FMC) are organized into Short-Term Training Units (UFCD) or Competence Units (UC) with the aim of promoting access to qualifications, through flexible, modularized and capitalizable paths, based on the referentials of skills and training associated with the qualifications that are part of the National Qualifications Catalog.

How long?

Certified Modular Training may have a variable workload, with each Short-Term Training Unit or Competence Unit having a duration of 25 or 50 hours.

Recipients

Certified Modular Training is intended for adults aged 18 or over, without adequate qualifications for the purpose of entering or progressing in the labor market and, primarily, without completing basic or secondary education.

Certification

Whenever an adult successfully completes a training course within the scope of this modality, a certificate is issued that lists all the units of competence or short-term training successfully completed.

The modular certified courses are capitalizable to obtain one, or more than one, qualification of level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 of the National Qualifications Framework (QNQ) that integrates the National Qualifications Catalog.

Digital Skills

What is it?

The “Certificate of Digital Skills” program has the strategic objective of contribute to raise the digital skills of the Portuguese population, as a factor of social inclusion and promoting employability, in response to the emerging needs of the digital economy and society.

Recipients

The recipients of this Program are citizens, aged 18 or over, who wish to obtain professional training in the digital area, recognition, validation and certification of skills previously acquired in this area, or certification of skills, in line with proficiency levels of the Dynamic Framework of Reference for Digital Competence.

Modalities / Levels

The training paths available are: Digital Proficiency – Basic Level, Digital Proficiency – Intermediate Level and Digital Proficiency – Advanced Level.

Each training course lasts up to 200 hours.

PLA Courses

What are they?

The courses in Portuguese as a Host Language allow to increase the ability to express and understand the Portuguese language, among migrant adults in Portugal, and facilitate their social and professional integration process.

Recipients

They are intended for adults aged 18 years or over, whose native language is not Portuguese and/or who do not have basic, intermediate or advanced skills in Portuguese, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Certification

These courses certify levels A1 + A2 (Elementary User) and B1 + B2 (Independent User), according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
